The artist Kazuki Tomokawa is starkly portrayed in this film as a “shadow” – a determined wanderer through life; a cursing shadow, a bruising shadow, a challenging shadow, and a walking shadow.

Kazuki Tomokawa devoted his 60 years of being to a path of self-deconstruction, to the point where we can now see into his naked soul, which stands before us shouting it’s defiance.
